On the cold winter morning of 24 December ‘08, the little angels of Matri Karuna Vidyalaya put together a heart warming performance to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. The event was attended by the parents of the children, members of the Mother’s Blossoms, Tara Didi and some ashramites.

The little children, in “flawless English diction”, through songs and drama, shared numerous tales about Christmas including the story behind Santa Clause. This was followed by the children singing Christmas carols in unison. 

The show was beautifully put together by the teachers and volunteers of MKV who had been practicing with the children for about a month.

The highlight of the show was our very own Atul Sud, from Mother’s Blossoms, distributing sweets to all the Children, dressed as Santa Clause. His enthusiasm and spirit shows his commitment to his passion – spreading happiness. Gifts were also distributed by other members of the Society.
