MIS organized a Career Fair comprising of counselling sessions from varied fields. This was done specially for the students of class XII Batch of 2005 on July 12, 2004. 

To speak to the Science stream we had Tina Pujara (1995) – a project scientist with IIT, Tina covered Architecture. Anuj Agarwal (2002) – II year BDS from SDC Ghaziabad for BDS, Mallesh Pai (2002) – Studying at IIT for engineering. Pankaj Mehta (1995) – Senior Resident, General Medicine, Maulana Azad Medical College for MBBS.

For the Humanities and Commerce students we had Arun Goyal (1975) Special Secretary, Power, Govt. of Delhi, Chairman & Managing Director, Delhi Transco Ltd. He spoke about various aspects of the civil services. 

Lalit Shukla (1989) – Director, Client Servicing with Grey Worldwide. He spoke about advertising. Bhavna Vij(1987) – special correspondent, Indian Express, introduced the students to journalism. 

Sandeep Bahl (1987) – CA, represented the field of chartered accountancy. Gautam Dhawan (1991) – Apparel Merchandiser covered Fashion and Jaijeet Bhattacharya (1989) – Head, E Governance, Centre of Excellence, Oracle Corporation, spoke to the students about MBA.

It was a great opportunity for the ex-students to interact with the batch of 2005 and to help them paint a clearer picture of what lies ahead of them.

All the panelists were happy for the chance they had got to help their juniors and the students were thankful for this opportunity too. As one of them said, “It was easier to talk to them. They were one of us.”
