The news that a student has won the highest amount in ‘Kaun Banega crorepati’ this season fills me with pride and sends me into a flashback where I still remember the same boy dozing off in the winter sun and waking up to a question missile aimed at him.
As I write, memories gush in. The time seems to be running fast and I see children growing up fast to be professionals and parents whose children now come to me. It seems like a dream in fast forward.
At every Alumni meet I am there for my joy and satisfaction as I come to know where and how my children are? Though I know that they will always bloom and never whither.
Students recall their associations with me and at that time I am compelled to think ‘why don’t I remember?’ Is it that I am growing old? Maybe, but as the days pass they become more and more close to me and my heart full of eternal love belongs to them.
