As the alumni connect with one another, they engage in various activities. They
not only relive their memories with school friends but also bond with others in the
community. Get-togethers, sports, trips, dinners, picnics and school visits are some
of the activities organised by Mother’s Blossoms.
Every year an annual alumni get together is organised on 26th Jan where all the Mother’s Blossoms spend time with their schoolmates and old teachers. The batches which complete 25 years and 50 years of graduating from school celebrate their batch’s reunion.
Awaited by all, it is a day to bask in the winter sunshine at the school grounds; surrounded by the warm glow of childhood friendships.
Mother’s Blossoms organised an adventure trip to Camp Himalayan in the Tirthan Valley, Himachal Pradesh. Thirty two enthusiastic members, across various batches, were together for 5 days. Everyone enjoyed the fun and games like an extended family. The memories and bonding of the participants are etched in their hearts forever.
Mother’s Blossoms organised a ‘Nostalgia Tour’ of the school in which the ex-students attended assembly, took a round of the school and playgrounds.
Who doesn’t remember the aroma of school tiffin and canteen snacks served at recess time. Nostalgia tour would have been incomplete without having snacks in the canteen.
The Alumni also visited the ashram. After taking blessings of The Mother and Sri Aurobindo at the Samadhi and Meditation Hall, they were briefed about ashram activities by Tara Didi. Later most of them spent time purchasing of books, incense, candles, gifts and at Sabda Shop.
Kite Flying Festival was organized by Mother’s Blossoms to celebrate India’s Independence Day twice. School students enjoyed kite flying in the school grounds. Many alumni across the batches joined the fun at the Holiday Club, Panchsheel Enclave. Some even tried kite flying for the first time. The games were followed by a sumptuous dinner.
