I had joined MIS late in high school, and my foundation in Math was not so strong and hence worried that this was one subject I would struggle at and didn’t look forward to it. All that changed when Archana Ma’m entered my life. With her no-nonsense attitude and systematic teaching, she slowly changed my indifference towards Math. After my interaction with her, I felt this was something within my grasp. I could take ownership of this and do well. She laid a lot of importance on hard work and never failed to mention it to us daily. Her mantra was, “Work hard now, and you will enjoy the benefits of it later, or enjoy now and struggle later.” This created a lasting impression on my young mind. I carried this attitude toward everything, and I became a successful student and carried it with me later in my college and professional life. I am sure she sowed this seed of hard work among almost all her students.

She was the reason why half of the 11/12th standard was downstairs, but the other sections were on the top floor. Such was her importance in the school and in our hearts. Thanks for everything Ma’am.
